Urologists included in the UroLift Center of Excellence (COE) program have achieved a higher level of training with the UroLift System and demonstrate a commitment to exemplary care for men suffering from symptoms associated with Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia or BPH. Requirements to achieve UroLift Center of Excellence designation are as follows:

  • Complete the UroLift Integration Pathway training (surgeon training program which includes module training and 15 observed cases)
  • The physician and all key technicians and nurses must complete NeoTract’s Premier Patient Experience training to optimize the UroLift System patient experience
  • Physician and practice staff actively educate appropriate LUTS patients on the UroLift System as a treatment option
  • The physician must participate in a minimum of two NeoTract-sponsored educational events per year
  • The physician must have an active web presence including educational information on the UroLift System that is accurate and current
  • The physician must demonstrate experience with the UroLift System by completing 60 UroLift System cases in a six-month period
  • The physician must submit de-identified pre- and post-procedure IPSS data from a minimum of 30 patients; the mean improvement in IPSS must be at least 25% compared to baseline average
  • The physician must meet a minimum of twice per year to review progress on de-identified patient outcomes, latest clinical data and best practices

Depending on the month of initial designation, COE physicians will be required to complete some of the annual re-designation requirements in order to obtain re-designation for the next year.  Annual requirements to maintain UroLift Center of Excellence designation are as follows:

  • The physician participates in a minimum of two NeoTract-sponsored educational events per year
  • The physician must continue to have an active web presence including educational information on the UroLift System that is accurate and current
  • The physician must average 5 cases per month over a 12-month period
  • The physician must submit de-identified pre- and post-procedure IPSS data from a minimum of 30 patients; the mean improvement in IPSS must be at least 25% compared to baseline average
  • The physician must meet at a minimum of twice per year to review progress on de-identified patient outcomes, latest clinical data and best practices

Some physicians on this list may purchase products from the company, provide consulting services to the company, and/or may be a party to a co-marketing agreement with the company. The physicians currently indicated as Center of Excellence physicians are in the process of fulfilling the above listed requirements. The audit period will be completed on December 2019.
